About to purchase a rio 600 for my skimmer, and want to order extra tubing to suck air from the outside. I can not find any info on what size tubing I need to use. Without the pump in hand I can't even make a decent guess. (I only need like 10'). I may have to buy the pump then take it with me to the store if noone knows.

Please give me some advice. Thanks.

It uses regular airline tubing size (3/16" I think). Make sure you get the RVT model.

No!!!!!! Sorry, I hate Rio pumps as every single one I have ever used has disintegrated on me. Don't know if they fixed their problems as I haven't purchased one in 5+ years, but their track record makes me cringe...

The Rio 600 RVT has really good reviews on Marine Depot, and came stock with the Skimmer I have. I want something that I know will work. 5+ years is a long time, and it's only $20. I'll write back to let you know how it works out.
