zygote2k August 15, 2010 Share August 15, 2010 Just wanted to say that building a track lighting system for LED's has to be one of the easiest ways to install these lights over an open topped tank. There are 2 tracks with 9 pendants here-

zygote2k August 16, 2010 Author Share August 16, 2010 These fixtures are the Archer Universal track heads with the Archer track and a corded live end with plug. A track, 6 pendants, and the live end were $100 at Lowes. 2x4's were a few dollars and it's all held together with some screws and attached to the wall studs. If you have a tank that has the service side hidden, this is the perfect light system for LED spotlights.

zygote2k August 16, 2010 Author Share August 16, 2010 WHat is the size of your tank and what was the cost of the LED lights and where did you get them? That particular tank is a 90. The lights are from nanotuners and ecoxotic. It was about $1k to do that light system.
