135g Frag Tank

First, thanks to Jeff (NAGA) for building and helping me with some of the design topics of the tank. I drove to Crofton yesterday and picked it up and it looks like it's very well made ... even a bit heavy duty in some aspects !

 

Here's a pic of the old system .. a 29g sump has a pump that feeds up to the 65g breeder (now For Sale if anyone needs it) .. the 65g has three racks of eggcrate to hold frags at three different levels in the tank. The 65g has a CPR overflow that feeds directly to a sump that I bought from DaveS and houses the refugium and flows directly down to the 29g sump.

It's 6'x3'x1' ... 1.5" overflow on one end

I did a double drain / fill to get the old water to the new system .. Here's the 65's, partially empty, during the final re-fill of the new frag tank ....

And finally, the new system .. now the 135g frag tank will drain into the sump, the sump will pump into the sump/refugium from DaveS (which has been raised to sit on a 2x12 box that I built), and overflow directly into the 135g frag tank .... 18sqft of frag space (6'x3') .. that "should" keep me going for a while :-)
