treesprite January 18, 2010 January 18, 2010 I really dread the idea of driving all day to get a drill bit from Virginia, when I only need it to drill one hole. I thought Aquarium One would have them, per what another member said, but they don't. I know TFW does not sell them, I haven't seen them at Tropical Lagoon, there aren't any at that little shop in Wheaton, and I refuse to check Congressional.
khalid January 18, 2010 January 18, 2010 I always order mine off of ebay and it come straight to the house saving me a trip.
hypertech January 18, 2010 January 18, 2010 (edited) I've had good luck with the ones from Bulk Reef Supply. If you order by 2, they ship same day. Edited January 18, 2010 by hypertech
treesprite January 19, 2010 Author January 19, 2010 By the time I pay postage, I may as well spend the money on gasoline. I have a completely unused bit for 3/4th" bulkheads, which unfortunately, is the wrong size :( Maybe I should sell/trade it.
treesprite January 19, 2010 Author January 19, 2010 I believe Aquarium One still stocks them. I went there in person a few days ago asking about them. The guy told me that they drill tanks but do not sell bits. I don;t know the guy's name - if the information he gave me is incorrect, please, someone who works there give both him and me the correct answer.
Brian Ward January 19, 2010 January 19, 2010 I thought they were in the bin in the back with the plumbing parts. But if that's what they told you then I'm sure it's correct. I've purchased from glass-holes.com before. They ship USPS which keeps the shipping cost way down. I've been very happy with them.
