Nate January 17, 2010 Share January 17, 2010 I have heard people refer to their 75 gallon tank as a 75 short. I was wondering if there are two dimensions for the 75. Short 48x20x18 and Tall 48x18x20. I can only find the 20 inch tall tank through AGA & Perfecto. I am looking for a 75 gallon tank that is 20 inches wide and 18 inches high. Anyone know who makes them? treesprite January 18, 2010 Share January 18, 2010 This is where I get confused. Some people use the term "deep" in reference to how high the water would go, i.e., how tall the tank is. Other people use the term "deep" to refer to the distance from the front to back panes of glass, as they are thinking of the tank as a geometric shape rather than a container for water (and sometimes refer to the length as the width). My empty 75 is 48" long, 20" high, and 18" deep/wide.
