bkl911 July 30, 2009 Share July 30, 2009 I would maybe go to a UHaul or Budget rental place and see if you can rent them for a few hours.
jnguyen4007 July 30, 2009 Share July 30, 2009 I'd be interested in knowing if we can rent those separately as well.

davelin315 July 30, 2009 Share July 30, 2009 No, I doubt it. You have to rent everything separately (dollies, packing blankets, straps, even hitch adapters) so I don't see them loaning these out. Plus, I doubt they even have those. I would talk to a glass supply company about them instead. Or, touch base with Copps, he had a couple when we moved his big tank in. bkl911 July 30, 2009 Share July 30, 2009 I know it says you need it by the weekend, but maybe if you next day shipped these (they are inexpensive), you could have it by tomorrow. http://www.amazon.com/360-Lift-Capacity-4-...e/dp/B000OQOQUU or http://www.amazon.com/Fastcap-Drop-Ship-HO...f=pd_sbs_auto_1
DaveS July 30, 2009 Share July 30, 2009 United Rental has them- about $10 each daily Theros Equipment also has them- about $20/pair daily (nice guys) Since the tank is pretty heavy, make sure they are rated properly. I rented 2 pairs for my tank move but they were underrated for the tank. They had the flip thing to engage the suction. That wasn't strong enough and the tank slid on the cups. The handles where however useful in helping to properly position the tank on the stand and in the wall so it wasn't a total loss. Hope this helps.
