mod ASM mini to use HOT?

I'm thinking about figuring out a way to mod my ASM Mini to use as a HOT for my 52 hex and could use some ideas if anyone has any to contribute. I had put it in my 65's system thinking 2 skimmers would be better than one, but, going along with what other people have said about using 2 skimmers, it turns out that it won't work unless the other skimmer is turned off. I'm sure it will lose efficiency as an HOT, but it will certainly be better than the CPR currently on the hex.

 

So, does anyone have any ideas of how to do it best? I need to make a way to attatch the pump that the pump would be in the water, and perhaps should use a stronger pump to make up for the distance. I also need to do something with the riser/output pipe so the water goes into the tank. I also need a way to make the skimmer hang onto the tank.
