Acrylic rods

Is there any place local to buy it. I want to build a live rock column and need some.

I could not find any local in Maryland, but ordered fifteen 3/8" acrylic rods and some weld-on from Craftics.com. Shipping was reasonable (but the estimated shipping fees are off) and the rods were less then $2 a piece.

There is a place in greenbelt, Piedmont Plastics.. I got some from there when I did my live frames.. They have Just about any size with in reason.. Its about 35min or so from the woodrow wilson is traffic is good... Prices werent bad either..

Piedmont Plastics is your best bet for acrylic around here. NAGA has also indicated he doesn't mind selling us pieces like this. FWIW, I have columns that were put together with PVC - looks like 1/2" sch 80.

I have some clear shelves if that is what you are looking for. Acrylic of course. LMK
