liverock growth ID

while moving my liverock around I found something growing on the side and bottom. does anyone know what this is? the stems are brittle. anyhelp is appreciated. Thanks Bills wife

Feather dusters... little filter feeders. Not harmful - in fact slightly helpful at taking nutrients out of the water.

I have seen those before! I use to get sponge like things growing under my rocks that resembled some type of leather Coral... and little pipe worms... If it isn't invading my tank and eating the stuff I paid for I usually just let it grow!
