Druas November 8, 2008 Share November 8, 2008 I currently use an Aquraium Pharmaceuticals Ph test kit and its horrible. my results vary depending on whether I am seeing it under yellow light or full spectrum white light the color pad does not match the tube reading unless i adjust the light in the room, which is not my objective. I also purchased a milwake digital probe but I don't trust that either I need to get a reliable reading...so I wanted to see what other members use and suggest I get. I dont want to buy one of those aquamedic electrode based things ...I dont mind doing the tests , I just expect accruate readings ty

reefmontalvo November 8, 2008 Share November 8, 2008 Salifert, but there is a better test kit than Salifert. The guys at the Aquarium Company have several in stock there in a silver looking box.

zygote2k November 8, 2008 Share November 8, 2008 Why don't you just buy an American Marine Pinpoint ph monitor. There is no equal. Easy to use, will pay for itself if you use chemical based kits over a years' time.
Highland Reefer November 8, 2008 Share November 8, 2008 I agree with a pH monitor. When it comes to pH, kits are not that accurate.
