Need help grounding PFO ballast wiring harness....

Hi all,

I recently purchased a new PFO 250 HQI ballast, but I need some wiring help. I have two wires on the used spider reflector with mogul socket I purchased (black and white) and three wires coming from the ballast wiring harness (black, white, and green). I previously had a pendant and used a screw in the pendant as a ground. Where do i ground the green wire when I mount the reflector? Also I was reading that I should not mount the reflector directly on wood due to temperature. What people are people using when mounting these?

I believe you can connect it anywhere on the reflector. I believe the spider reflectors have some holes in them that could be used with a nut and bolt and an eyeloop on the green wire to ground it.

Thanks so much for the input. I will try to go by home depot tomorrrow and pick up the supplies. I want to have it installed before the weekend is over.
