onux20 July 30, 2008 July 30, 2008 (edited) I bought a bi-color blenny a couple of weeks ago and I am watching him get thinner and thinner. Does anyone have any tips on what he may eat and how to get him to eat it? He does graze on the rocks and glass but does there is not a whole lot there. The hair algae that I am combating does not interest him. Help please. Ron Edited July 30, 2008 by onux20
CHUBAKAH July 30, 2008 July 30, 2008 Mine was very finicky at first but started to go after nori after a couple of weeks. He then started to eat the polyps on my sps corals, which I read they typically do with little damage it said. This guy ended up cleaning all the polyps off my only sps at the time at which point he disappeared never to be seen again. TBH I miss the little guy. He had major personality. GL with yours!

onux20 August 2, 2008 Author August 2, 2008 Okay, not sure what was the solution. I tried nori and he seemed to ignore. However, when I got home today I saw him eating things out of the water column. Then I added the garlic dipped nori. I am happy to say he is stuffed. Hopefully he will keep eating. Thanks again for the advice. Ron

Ron When I got my tailspot blenny, he kept getting thinner and thinner for a couple of weeks and then one day he just started going nuts and eating anything I put in the tank.. who knows..
