mogurnda July 6, 2008 July 6, 2008 Just wanted to thank Justin for being willing to sell me this swalesi basslet, saving me the trouble of schelpping out to Annapolis to get it. It's still pretty shy, but fat and happy. I owe you!
jamesbuf July 6, 2008 July 6, 2008 Aweseome fish. If I had know that Jack had that fish I would've gotten it myself. Doh!!
mogurnda July 7, 2008 Author July 7, 2008 Also, after seeing your tank when we picked up the fish, my wife is sold on an in-wall system. Very successful weekend
ctenophore July 7, 2008 July 7, 2008 Glad to know it went to a good home! Sorry about the super short tank tour when you came by. Congrats on getting clearance for the in-wall system I'd love to help you plan it out when you're ready.
jhn July 7, 2008 July 7, 2008 Glad to see the basslet is doing well and went to a good home. They are by nature a very shy fish, pretty much never leaving the tunnels/caves in the live rock other than to dash out and grab some food.
Highland Reefer July 7, 2008 July 7, 2008 What a pretty fish. How big do they get? I would imagine they may be a mouthful for a dwarf fuzzy lionfish.
jhn July 7, 2008 July 7, 2008 Cliff, They get around 2-2.5", so they would be a tasty snack for any fish with a bigmouth.
mogurnda July 7, 2008 Author July 7, 2008 Also thanks to you, Jack. Pretty, healthy fish for a good price.
