15L Prop tank

Thought I would create a thread on my prop tank. I started in Dec. 15L with 10gal sump/fuge and homemade stand. I have made several changes along the way with the tank, including changing the design of the racks, elevating the light more and upgrading to a better skimmer.

Nice layout. Ive been thinking about hooking a Prop tank to my system. You have given me some good ideas. Look forward to seeing the coming progress.

Tks, highland, I lost the wrasse the other day either jumped or took the overflow ride of death.

 

next time- Ill drill the tank, get a good skimmer first time around and think about the rack design and flow issues.

Nice collection of coral too. Drilling is the only way to go as far as I am concerned. I've been looking at the drill bits they have on line. You can get them for a fairly cheap price which includes the bulkheads you need. I have a 45 gallon corner tank laying around & I would like to incorp. it into my system. How much trougle is it to clean the tank?
