The Spring Meeting of The Washington Area Marine Aquarist Society (WAMAS) will be on Saturday April 5, 2008 from 2:30-6:00 p.m. George Mason University, (immediately outside Washington, DC)

 

Our featured special guest speaker Dr. Sanjay Joshi.

 

Along with a great talk, lots of frag swapping, and a great raffle, this is sure to be a meeting NOT to miss!

Dr. Sanjay Joshi's Bio:

Sanjay Joshi is a professor of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Penn State University. He has been a reef keeping addict since 1992, and currently keeps 3 reefs at home 55G, 60G and a 500G SPS dominated reef. He is also co-manager of the 500G aquarium at Penn State. He has published several articles in magazines such as Marine Fish and Reef Annual, Aquarium Frontiers, Aquarium Fish, and Advanced Aquarist. He has been an popular speaker at many of the national marine conferences.

Reminder for folks to GET THERE EARLY!!!! There will be a bit of a walk and a new facility. Please leave yourself time to get your bearings and situated before the speaker begins. Coming in and out during speaker talks are just plain RUDE.

 

And please do not make me the "quiet police" during the talks this time.

OK now I would say MAKE SURE you are early.

 

Sounds like the CIRCUS is at the Patriot Center tomorrow. NO KIDDING!
