Guest godlike February 6, 2003 Share February 6, 2003 Greets I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place in the Northern Virginia or Greater DC area that sells Acrylic Sheet. I've looked in the yellow pages, but none of the places I've thought might have it did. But it seems like someone around here should sell it And I'm discounting Home Depot/Lowes. The thickest they told me they could get was .223", and the quality was kinda low (i.e.- looked kinda cloudy) Any ideas or pointers appreciated. thanks
pez February 6, 2003 Share February 6, 2003 Acme plastic on Edsal Road. A full sheet is very expensive. However, you can my pieces by the pound. A very good deal for DIY projects. -T

bcjm February 6, 2003 Share February 6, 2003 Not sure how much do you need but another place to look is ebay. So a search on "acrylic sheet*". There are all kinds of thickness. You will be suprised.

Guest reeftanklfs February 12, 2003 Share February 12, 2003 Hi guys: I know this answer comes a week late, but hopefully it helps someone. Acme plastics actually has changed names, but I forgot the new name. It's actually located on General George Washington Way, right off of Edsall Rd. and 395, right behind the Marlo furniture place that can be seen from 395.
