Biocube fan issue

I have had an Oceanic Biocube since about February. Almost every time the lights come on, the fans make a horrible whirring sound, like the fan is going out or not balanced. Has anybody else had this issue, and if so, how did you fix it if you did?

yup, does it every time but it goes away after a few minutes. i just dealt with it. you can buy replacement fans to try if you want - check out www.nanotuners.com if you haven't found it already.

I'll second replacing the fans, they're not that expensive. Probably just bad bearrings.

Thanks guys. If it gets too bad I'll go with a new fan.
