dhogan August 19, 2007 August 19, 2007 I really don't think its working right. I have two other crappy thermometers and its like 8-10 degrees difference. I then plugged my heater in an always on plug, put it at 81, and over night, ACJr. now reads that it is almost 90 degrees. Its my understanding that this thing comes calibrated. What's the deal?
dhoch August 19, 2007 August 19, 2007 Lot's of things can interfere with it....also is the probe that was calibrated with the same one it shipped with. Regardless I believe there is an offset you can set.... Temp is a weird thing we really have no way to calibrate... So I took 3-4 different types of thermometers and calibrated to the average. Dave
