'Ric August 14, 2007 Share August 14, 2007 (edited) I was watching the Slit to Split Demo on BTAs and was wondering how long it takes them to heal up and be their "roundish" shape again. Also, does the same technique work for Ricordea and or Mushrooms? 'Ric Edited August 14, 2007 by 'Ric

bigJPDC August 14, 2007 Share August 14, 2007 I slit my yuma a couple of weeks ago and it healed back in place. I think that's because I couldn't pry it off the rock so I just kind of cut it in place. Should I try the ice cube trick to get it off the rock? lanman August 19, 2007 Share August 19, 2007 I was watching the Slit to Split Demo on BTAs and was wondering how long it takes them to heal up and be their "roundish" shape again. Also, does the same technique work for Ricordea and or Mushrooms? 'Ric Blaine Perrun's site (a little hard to follow - click on the links upper left one after the next to get through the whole story) - http://www.ricordia.org/index.html GARF's ricordia propagation page - but they only demonstrate Ricordia Florida. - http://www.garf.org/ricord/ricord.html In this article, GARF mentions propagating ricordia yuma, but don't give any details; most just giving details on how to propagate mushrooms in general - http://www.garf.org/news27p2.html As soon as I can get some space in my frag tank, chopping up one of my green ricordia yuma's is my next project. Not that it hasn't been producing plenty of babies - but I want to try it anyhow. bob
