OUsnakebyte December 13, 2004 Share December 13, 2004 Okay, it's a 65 gallon AGA tank (footprint of 36" x 18") with a wood stand that's sits on hard wood floor. The right side needs to come up by about 1/4". What's the best way to do this? Small wood spacers? When I do that, there is a small space between the left and right sides in the middle of the bottom of the stand that gradually slopes down to the floor. I am worried about putting any type of "leveling agent" on the one side to even it out and then having the bottom of the stand warp. Or will it? Is this making any sense at all? Thoughts? michaelg December 13, 2004 Share December 13, 2004 You can get a pack of wood shims from home depot. These are angled, so you can put them evenly along the gap. You just score them with a knife and snap to get them more or less flush with the edge of the stand. You can go all the way around this way and make multiple points raising it up. Hope that helps. pedalpower December 14, 2004 Share December 14, 2004 I've also used the felt strips that you put under furniture. Just double up on the low areas.

HowardofNOVA December 14, 2004 Share December 14, 2004 Mike, For future reference, there is a grout out that you pour on the floor "before" you put the tank in place that will self level on the floor. cool stuff for sure if anyone has a similiar issue in the future!
