Alok March 18, 2007 Share March 18, 2007 I have a Glass Cages aquarium with their stock overflow. A fish went from my tank into the overflow and then down into my sump, where I retrieved it. Is this common? Is there anything I can do to keep this from happening in the future? Alok
YBeNormal March 18, 2007 Share March 18, 2007 Use plastic gutter guard to either make a high fence or to cover your overflow. Howard said in another post that he'd be bringing some to the meeting.
Jager March 18, 2007 Share March 18, 2007 its more common then youd think. a bit of gutter guard over the overflow itself will keep that from happening :P
Alok March 18, 2007 Author Share March 18, 2007 How do you fasten the gutter guard to the top of the overflow? Alok

Well, that's the design for convict gobies, at least. bob
DEEPBLUE March 18, 2007 Share March 18, 2007 I got make my own for my glass cages tank, used plexi-glass Lowes, cut slots about 1/4 in apart and use aquarium sealant. They have been on there for 3 years with no problem. Eric
