Guest cbo November 15, 2002 November 15, 2002 A few people have asked for some of the greenex I used to eliminate the flatworms in my tank. I am not going to the meeting on saturday, but I am sending the bottle of Greenex to the meeting with Larry Granier. If people can bring a small container to get it in that would be great. It is a liquid and 1 drop per gallon is called for. I used 4.5 drops in my six gallon tank, sand and live rock displacing at least that much. I gave larry three test tubes with caps for people to take some home in. I would like to get those back, maybe at TRT meeting. I think Michaelq works in a medical lab of some kind, maybe he or someone else could offer to bring in a few surplus test tubes or something. :D The only negative outcome I have seen has been one green striped mushroom, which still does not look as good as before the treatment. This mushroom was directly under the water flow I added the med to, so it probably got a concentrated blast. I recommend diluting the med either in the sump or in a gallon or so of tank water and then adding that water to the system rather than adding the med. directly to the tank. Gee that seems really logical now with hind sight. Good luck to anyone that tries this, please add your experiences to the existing thread or start a new one so we can see if there are situations that cause problems and what kind of results people get. cbo
