menglish September 15, 2023 Share September 15, 2023 Fellow control freaks, I need some help. For the past few months, the solenoid on my CaRx has only been running in the on position, meaning, CO2 is always on and as a result, the CO2 that do not last as long as it used to. I have attached screen grabs of my codes and current situation. I can manually switch it to off and the solenoid would close, but with the programming, it never turns off. What am i missing here? I know the codes are good, but i cant figure this out. any suggestions? I have even calibrated both the tank ph and the CaRx probes, but it makes no difference. Much thanks
WheresTheReef September 15, 2023 Share September 15, 2023 Try adding Set OFF after Fallback OFF in CaRx_CO2 so it defaults to the off state and comes on if the ph raises above your threshold.
WheresTheReef September 16, 2023 Share September 16, 2023 (edited) Another thing, does you ph ever drop below 6.3 to trigger the OFF condition? The lowest point in your graph above is only 6.39 (within logging rate - 10mins by default). Can you adjust the ON/OFF ph conditions? What is your target ph range? menglish September 18, 2023 Author Share September 18, 2023 I think I found the reason why. The valve controlling the flow rate out of the CaRx was completely open, pushing out more that 600 ml/min so the pH in the reactor was not getting low enough. I have closed the valve and it now looks ok. Thank all Milton
