Mando77 May 2, 2023 May 2, 2023 Is there anyone that can reseal a rimless tank and make it look unaltered? I’ve never resealed a tank before and want it to be clean.
Aquastudent May 4, 2023 May 4, 2023 Hey Mando. I don't know if anybody who professionally seals as a one off type of thing but I highly encourage you to try to do it yourself. I have done a couple and if you tape off the edges you'll get a clean look. I recommend having a second person help you out, one puts down the silicone and one follows behind with a gloved finger or something smooth to level out all out. The second person is to make sure it gets smooth before it starts to cure (I learned from experience). The worst thing that could happen is you aren't satisfied with the result, scrape it out, and try again.
ArmyVetReefer May 4, 2023 May 4, 2023 @Mando77 I went through Bell Woodworking, the owner is Austin is a good dude. Im trying to get his WAMAS name so yall can link up. He is currently resealing a tank for me as well as buffing out any scratches. Once I get his WAMAS name, ill tag him and have him reach out.
