  1. This morning, my power went out a about a minute. Coincidentally, my koralia pump on my nem tank stop working. So I pulled it out to clean it. test it and proceeded to pt it back into the tank. Luckily, my foot was on the home air vent (metal) and I got strong zapped. I immediately make some voltage and current measurements. So make it short, turn out the return pump (mag 7) is faulty. Got a 120v and nearly 3mA (not enough to trip the GFCI!)! Also, found that the protein skimmer pump registered @ 50V but only .05mA. I swapped out the mag 7 with a new one and retake the meter readings. current is @ .05mA and voltage is 50v (this is mostly from the skimmer pump, will probably need to replace it too!). No longer get zapped when I touch water while grounded! I also retest the faulty mag 7 in a saltwater bucket to confirm. Man, this is the first time I got good result from a power outage !!
