I have an old aquascape lighting with three 250W MH on a 125 gal 6' x 21" deep. One of my ballast burned up and I'm considering an LED system rather then trying to fix the old system. I know there is a lot of options but wanted to get some thoughts on what a good set up might be. thanks ken

I was planning to get the PB "pre-quarantined" from King of Corals. Maybe I'll get the Sunburst and let them settle in for a few weeks and add the PB then.

Anyone have experience with a sunburst? I have a 125 reef set up with lots of pods, caves and overhangs that I thought might make a good home for a sunburst. Just thought I'd check to see what others experience has been before I pull the trigger. Current tankmates: Yellow tang, royal grama, small sixline, geometric hawk (very small), lawnmower blenny. also thinking about adding a Powder Brown Tang but not sure after reading many conflicting articals and posts on the PB's being one of the more difficult tangs and the whole Gold Rim vs. PB discussion. Very confusing. thanks ken

I have a 125 gal with a mag drive 1200gph for the sump return and a 700 gph for my refugium (6' head). My 700 pump needs replacing and I was thinking of going external with a 1200 gph iwaki to run both. I'm thinking that the iwaki might have enough power for both, less heat and no more magnetic impellers to deal with. Anyone have experience with these pumps and do you think the 1200 is a good choice?

I want to upgrade my PC lighting and am looking a a used 72" aquaspacelight with three 250W MH and four 24W PC. Anyone have any feedback on how well they work?? ken
