    I am also still working on getting that composite photo printed. Still haven't found a printer that will do it. I just might have to create one image by stacking the two images on top of each other and then print it that way. Then when I get it, I can take it to Ritz where they have a large paper cutter and separate them.

    Ok, so while talking to Rebecca, I realized that I need new bulbs for my MH lamps... The colors of my SPS were not so intense anymore and some where starting to turn brown.

     

    So, I bought new bulbs and put them in. After a couple of days, they still didn't look too hot but I thought that that was still a result of the bulbs getting old. 2 days ago, I come home from work and most of my SPS were bleached. :(

     

    I guess the new bulbs were too intense for the corals.

     

    Lesson leared: Make sure you acclimate your corals to new lights/bulbs!

    Eric, all PVC fittings are tapered, so that as you screw them in they get tighter and tighter. Wrap the threads with 2-3 wraps of teflon tap and get in in hand tight and a wrench no more than 1/2 turn.

    You can always put a wrench on it again if you need to, but as Jon mentioned above just a 1/2 turn too much and crack! But then again you did opt for those heavy duty bulkheads that have much more give than the plastic ones.

    Yeah, I have no problem with the bulkheads... they are right on. :)

     

    I just didn't know that they weren't meant to go in all the way. Yes, I have teflon to wrap around it... I was just trying the fit.

    BTW, Johnny, the bit was perfectly round and I was amazed at how clean the cut was. I'll probably get a couple more of those bulkheads. :-)

    I asked for one? No... I've been telling folks that I got one from you and it is amazing how well mine cleans the sand. :)

     

    Not to distract from your post... but do you have the light cover and lights? I want to pick them up too when I come in this weekend to pick up the salt.

     

    I kinda want the Yasha Hase Shrimp Goby you had/have... Is it still there? And the candy stripped pistol shrimp.

    I have a 30g plus acrylic that I got in Sept. of 2003 that I need to sell. Drilled for 1 inch bulkhead I think, and reduced down via pvc for 3/4 pump. [32x14x15 or close to that, would have to measure for sure] two overflows into sump.

     

    I'll try to get a pick and see what I paid for it to see what I can do on price.
