  1. during the MACNA 2005 here in Washington i purchased a Barracuda waterfilter from AquaFX, (http://www.aquariumwaterfilters.com.) I just wanted to let everybody know how impressed i am with their product and especially with their customer service. Every time I call they are more than helpful. I had Never worked with an RO/DI before. What their website could not help me with the staff certainly did over the phone. When I needed a new part they shipped it wt no cost to me at all. when I had to replace the auto shut off i was once again shipped a new piece at no charge. When I call for replacement filters they are very courteous, efficient and polite. It is a pleasure calling them. In a time when all these big companies tout their horn about great customer service but never seem to deliver it is refreshing to be treated this way. oh, and I am very happy with the filter. I use it for drinking water and ice cubes as well as for all of my aquariums. Thanks, Ingo
  2. Biggest waste of money ever: Oceanpods, aquacultered marine copepods. One four ounce bottle is supposed to contain 1000 copepods. I caeeld them to see if the pods are big enough to feed seahorses and they said yes. when we got it i did not even see one with the naked eye. I sure shi.. did not even see 10 with a magnifying glass. $25.00 per bottle. If I would have burmed the bills I would have been happier.
  3. It must be all the drugs from the hip replacement last week because I posted pix here before but now can't seem to remember how.
  4. I thought I was the only one with thousands of pix of the family and only a couple of myself. This Picture (if it shows) is of me and and me wife under the Dominican Republic.
  5. The reef tank is in Burke off Roberts Parkway. Good place. staff knows their stuff. Just the hours they keep were not too convenient. Wally's has always been Wally's. I don't think they will ever change. What do you guys think of Petco's salt selection?
  6. I have been living in this area for over twenty years now and it seems like Wally's wants to turn their store around once a year with minimal success. I rather drive from Dale City to Randelstown (North of Baltimore), a place called the Aquarium Center. I bought a 250 g. aquarium a while back and broke it at home unloading, and they exchanged it for me even though it was my fault www.aquariumcenter.com
