I am working on a new stand / refuge setup for the system. As I set it up I will document it with photos and specs. The new refuge will be a 55gal Seaclear tank that I have laying around. It will contain 4gal of Kent Bio-sediment (I have been using this stuff and the Eco system mud for a while and I cant tell much different except cost). The refuge will be lit with 1 96 watt pc (24/7) and will be loaded with lots of weeds. This will drain into a 45 gal Seaclear with just water, heater and a Skimmer then pump back into the main tank. A closed loop will supply all of the current. I will have all of the updates on the design on the page on my site, as I finish the construction stages

As a new member I want to thank everyone for making me feel welcome. I am so glad that I was invited to a Meeting. I have never lived in an area that had a resource like this. The ability to meet and discuss with others is a very rich asset. I have had to go to the web and to boards for years to talk with other tank owners and to have a local group like this, almost makes it worth moving here ( I hate the cold weather ). I am very involved in the mud refuge type of system. and would like to talk with others who have done this type of system or who are thinking of trying it.
