  1. I have someone interested in the whole setup, but I will keep you posted if they don't want it. I'll start seperating next week. If you are interested in pieces email me what you want and I will get a price to you next week. Thanks Doug
  2. Sorry, forgot to add I'm in Southern Maryland(Lexington Park) What are you interested in?
  3. For Sale complete 65 gallon reef ready aquarium. Includes the following, pine stand and hood, (3)VHO 110 watt bulbs, icecap 660 ballast, wet/dry filter, heater, protein skimmer, chemical and mechanical filters, little giant pump(with extra parts), extra filters and misc parts and pieces. This is the tank that has the cracked top brace, they say it can be fixed but I don't have the time to mess with it. Right now the tank is 1/2 full running a powerhead and has about 35 pounds of live rock that has blue/purple mushrooms, green hairy mushrooms, white cup corals, a bunch of star polyps and some misc corals and snails. I bought this tank a couple of weeks ago and used most of the rock and corals in my existing tank, so I am now selling the stuff I don't need. The reason I didn't hook everything backup was I thought I had a buyer before I even bought the tank, but it fell through. I am asking $350.00, because the wife wants it out of her kitchen, she says 4 tanks are too many. Thanks Doug doug.lias@gmail.com
  4. That's true, you can probably get any name you want right now(when it goes public watch out, may even cost new people to use it, when it goes public). It's a pretty neat email system and you can't beat the space(great for pictures). I have 2 left if anyone is interested. Doug
  5. Anyone interested in a GMail account? If you haven't heard about gmail, it's an email account from google, but it is by invitation only. It gives you 1 gig(1000meg) of storage and some neat features. Some people are selling their invitations but I have 4 that I will give away for free. Just email me your full name and email account and first 4 that do can have them. doug.lias@gmail.com Trying to give something back to this site. Thanks Doug
  6. Is it hard to get the old trim off? How is it held on?
  7. Thanks. I was wondering how do I know who made the tank? Do they put markings on the tank somewhere? Would like AGA trim fit on any 48" x 12" tank?
  8. Thanks for everyone's input. I just started on looking on this message board and already finding very helpful people. After I get the whole trim and brace piece how do you get the old trim and brace off, since it is one whole piece? Is it glued on? Thanks again Doug
  9. Hi everyone! I just bought a used 65 gallon tank and when I got it home and started filling it up, I noticed that the top plastic support bracket was cracked and started to seperate from the top trim. It looks like the top plastic trim and this middle support bracket is one whole piece. My question is can I fix it(like with epoxy) or am I in trouble. Does it need to be fixed for me to continue filling the tank and running it? My 58 gallon oceanic does have one of those support braces, so I was just wondering if it is needed. I would rather try and fix it if I can. Thanks Doug
