  1. Im guessing you are breaking down the old tank completely since you sold a lot of things from that tank. Softies are happy in their new homes by the way! Cant wait to see the pics of this up and running.
  2. I see your back at it! What size tank are you setting up?
  3. Does anyone have a local supplier for 8020 where I could drop in and get what I need to build a light bar?
  4. Good afternoon everyone! @Blue Tang Clanany plans to put this back on the books?
  5. That scape looks awesome!!! I see your wife was serious about the plants too!
  6. Good afternoon, Id like to offer up my current stock list and see what you guys might think I could add if anything. I'm not having any trouble maintaining parameters and I know I'm close to the end of what I can keep in this tank. I'm hoping to add something that might be in the mid range of the tank and be out and about more. Most everything else I'm keeping at the moment aside from the clowns are usually only out and about a little at a time. My cardinals tend to hang out in the back of the tank. Here's what I currently have. Open to suggestions or criticism lol. Wondering if maybe a melanurus wrasse might be a good addition? 2 Mocha Storm Clowns 2 Banggai Cardinals 1 Diamond Goby 1 Weaver Goby 1 Pistol Shrimp 1 Clown Goby 1 Tailspot Blenny 1 Banded Coral Shrimp 1 Royal Gramma Basslet Various snails and hermits
  7. Thanks! I’ll give it a bath and dry. If that doesn’t work I’ll give Neptune a shout.
  8. Has anyone seen this before? I can get past the step where it test for an acceptable range. Probe is completely dry. It’s brand new and has never been in water.
  9. @epleeds @howaboutme Thanks for the input guys. I’d love to gind something my clowns will actually host and not keep picking on every darn coral that moves lol! My Duncan’s are starting to get tired lol. Maybe a large elegance will do the trick!
  10. Ok, so I’m willing to admit I want one but they scare the poop out of me, just being 100% honest. I have 8 rock flower nems and they are perfectly happy. The tank is relatively new but was a set up directly from a breakdown. Not really sure if any of the other corals I keep compare in difficulty but currently I have Lobos, elegance, Acans, Zoas, Stylopora, hammers, Frogspawn, alveopora, chalice and digi. The old tank was up and running for about 8 months. The new tank is only about three weeks old. Most of the display rock was dry. I transferred over a bunch of coral attached to live rock and filled the sump as much as possible with live rock from the old tank. Am I scared for no reason? I have a rock structure close to an MP10 and about 2/3 of the way up in the display that would provide great light. What’s your opinion on them? Do people worry more than necessary?
  11. Sounds like a plan sir! Sorry you got hit with it! Hope you are better or on the mend. Look forward to meeting you and the others.
  12. @Blue Tang ClanGood morning, any update on which Saturday you might do this or are you possibly putting this on hold?
  13. Thanks guys. @YHSublime these guys have been in the tank for about 6 months. They’ve gotten a little bigger but are only about the size of a half dollar. As soon as I move whatever they are under they slither into the rocks. I think they are definitely night feeders. I’m not transferring any more live rock from the 60.2. That tank is getting shut down and sold. The Reefer is already full of rock. I e actually had great luck with my crabs and snails. They don’t seem to be dying off like some folks. @DaJMastaits not the fish I’m worried about it’s the stars and smaller snails. They seem to stick to the crevasses in the rocks and are hard to find and remove. I’ll try the shaking in a bucket thing and see if anything falls off. I don’t want to dip either for sure. I will offer Up the scape for free once I get to that point and anyone that wants it can be if it from the riders.
  14. Good afternoon, I'm slowly moving coral and fish from a Waterbox 60.2 over to a 250 reefer. The scape in the 60.2 just didn't seem right for the 250 so I built a new scape and cycled the tank. Now that I'm moving things over I realize there are some things harder to catch than fish!! I know I have a least a half dozen brittle stars and some snails that are smaller that Id like to get over to the new tank. Any advice on what I could do to catch them? Was wondering if a bottle trap with a shrimp in it might catch them? I appreciate any feedback or advice. Thanks, George
  15. Yes sir, on top is no good!!!!
