Thanks ReeferMan, should I pull out all the fish, or all that are affeced and how do I keep the nutrince up with no fish? and how do i set up a qt tank?

Finally, my tank is doing great. The corals are growing exceptionally and the tank looks great but one problem I have sick or velvet on a couple of my fish. How do I get rid of this disease without killing my tank? I know there’s reef safe options. I have used one in the past. I will say I’ve had very bad luck with fish over the time and have probably bought over 50 fish and only about five of them have survived overall I’m not gonna name the store that I get them from but I’ve had many cases of buying fish from there and getting it again and again. I have a scopes tang and my tank and he is the one that has it the most. funny enough my two rasses that I have in my tank do not have it at all. Eventually I’m gonna need to rehome the scopes tang, so I wanna try to figure out how to get the disease away before I do anything with him. Because I would love to eventually add a bio yellow tank or getting a couple new rasses for the tank, but I’m too worried to buy anything until I get the disease done first. thanks, matt

I recently upgraded my tank to a water box 90 is a great tank and I found out that I need to start dosing. I’ve been testing every two days for alkaline because that was my main problem and it’s been coming back around 7.1 and I’ve been dosing Alkalinity since then is there a better way to go about this or a better solution? thanks, Matt

Hi everyone on the day after thanksgiving. Just to introduce myself I’m 14 years old and have a 90 gallon salt water tank. It’s been running for about three years now I just upgraded to a larger tank before it was a 40 gallon breader and upgraded to a Water box 90.3X. I saw this thread that hasn’t been posted on for a long time so I thought to make something. So if you have any suggestions or things to do feel free to tell. thanks, Matt

I ended up buying the water box X90.2 tank does anybody have past experiences with cables in the stand because there is not much room? thanks, matt

40 gallon breeder with a 15 gallon sump

Parents are putting new flooring and panting the house in my tank needs to get moved from the wall and get out of the room so they can put new flooring down. Does anybody have any ideas on how I would be able to do this I was planning on right now getting a Water storage tank from tractor supply and throwing everything in there until they get the walls painted and the floors done, but let me know if you have any ideas cause I’m planning on just putting the tank back to where it was. I was also thinking about buying a new tank but still haven’t found one yet. If you have any suggestions on that too that would be great preferably under 1500 would be good.

I feel like my right side on my tank has been looking very bad compared to my left side. Does anybody know what could be wrong? I know one of my lights I’m running two AI 16 HD I know once older than the other, but I doubt that would be the problem.

I have no clue what these little white things are. I thought they were like baby at apsha for a while, but I’ve no clue they’re kind of all over my tank in the dark spots. Can you please help me figure out what they are?

I have gotten this coral a while ago and it’s done pretty good for me. It has almost green glitter and purple polyps that extend very far. It is almost like a glitter Goni. thank you very much. If you can figure out what it is.
