With the energy company sending out winter storm emergency preparedness alerts, I've topped up the charge on all of my various backup batteries and chargers, dug out my battery powered airstones and sponge filter, and prepared extra saltwater for an emergency water change if needed. I also have hand warmers and a blanket to tape to the outside of the tank if necessary. Anyone want to share your own good, unusual, or just enthusiastic plan to respond to potential power outages? If you have MTS, does your emergency prep vary based on the size of the tank, or do you have a one-size-fits-all plan?
