So I'm going on vacation and my parents do not want anyone in the house whatsoever.... so that being said I'm a little short on a some supplies that I need for my tanks to run themselves while I'm gone. I'm hoping someone would let me borrow an
-ato(only for a 10 gallon)
-Auto feeder
-and possible a camera so I can check in on things!
If anyone has these or an extra they could let me part with from July 2 to July 9 please let me know!! I don't have the money to buy new.
Thanks!

I bought 3 peppermint shrimp for my tank once to help rid my tank of aptasia. They began eating my corals 1 by 1 until I caught two of them. After that the remaining one hasn't touched a coral since lol.
The trap does eventually work though as it did very quickly for me!

I've heard the have great personalities from a few people, And I'm not sure what keep going on with it, can't seem to figure it out. Works flawlessly for two weeks then when I shut it off for maintenance when it comes back on it doesn't work right:/I've been thinking about a hawk fish but I just can't officially decide on anything... I want a fish with some amazing personality. Why does your skimmer keep breaking???and yeah!! Set up a cool nano! Would love to see progress pics.

Hawkfish is an awesome perching fish...
But my wishlist would defiantly be:
- hawkfish(lol)
-red mandarin
-Leopard wrasse
-tomini tang
- get fuge running
- get skimmer working again(broke)
-get my nano back up and running
-upgrade filter media/add reactor
I've got a lot of work to do!

My tank is a nearly 6 month old planet aquarium custom 70 gallon with an eshops 75 sump, and a 10gallon fuge(not set up yet). My lighting is 2 Kessil a360we and my filtration filter sock, carbon bag, and a bubble Magnus nac 5 skimmer. I use a gyre 130 for water movement. I feed a homemade mix of shrimp, scallops, and muscles along with the occasional polyp lab reef roids after a water change.

I had though both of those as well but there is another hammer on the same disk as it that's doing perfectly fine. And I feed al my corals polyp lab reef roof every week or two.Do you feed your hammer at all? A piece of mysis shrimp one or twice a week per head and it should bounce back. I doubt whatever it is growing on it is the cause. Could be too much flow also.

it defiantly look like foraminiferan, and I would have to think that it's the problem as that's the only hammer in my tank with a problem.Yeah you're right.
Could it still be irritating the hammer though?

. I'm not sure, I got a acro on a rock I bought from KOC but it got crushed from bad packaging. Half is still alive and doing well.Yeah you would just break it off. You could keep it too. Branching coralline is pretty cool. Just curious, have you had red dragon acro before? It looks just like red dragon but I don't think they do polyp bailout.

not sure, I can check later. If it is how do I go about removing it? Just scraping it off?Is it hard? It could be branching coralline algae and it could irritate the hammer by poking it.

I use polyp lab reef roids, I'm not sure if that's considered food but I've seen some great growth from all my corals!

in General Discussion
Finally got two polyps but am having some tank trouble lately with strange nitrate spike and a lot of lost zoa polyps. But this little guy bounced back after being closed for about a week.
