Well just some small updates:
Got a show size elegance. been watching my sps slowly grow. Solved my undetectable nitrates issue and its now holding steady at 5ppm. Realized my phosphates were in the 0.4ppm range so starting to run GFO to bring that down. My sea urchin found a rubber band in my tank. Got a really nice blasto from Lynn. And over all the fish seem to be doing good and being healthy even though i lost those 3 leopard wrasses.

Dang that's a lot of light for such a small tank!

2 in a week? something is up...
Yah something is seriously off to loose a eating leopard wrasse.

Well woke up to my kutier leopard dead on my power head.... Been going strong for 3 weeks eating frozen and pellets. looked him over and no signs of disease or injury from fish aggression. Nitrates undetectable, nitrites undetectable, and ammonia undetectable on salifert test kits. Guess its time to do an ICP test to see if there is something like elevated lithium.

Make sure the screen on the tank is really tight.
my hood is completely sealed. so worst thing that happens is they hop in the overflow.
Unfortunately I found the Choati leopard dead on the sand. today is a rough day

I would move the refuge pipe over the baffle and not right next to the skimmer. You should leave as much room for pulling the skimmer out as possible.
+1 to this. making it easy to remove and clean the skimmer is a big time saver.
I would also put a foam pad under the sump to help keep it level and reduce stress on the acrylic.

Last ? Of my 20 ? series lol. Ever added ones to others that are established? Id assume as long as its adding a female itd be ok.
yah leopards in general will play nice if you add females. thats why if you have ~$700 laying around a trio of kutier leopards would be amazing! you can easily get them as females and they are more mild in temperement.

Honestly the easiest has been Kutier leopard wrasses. every single one I've ever had has always eaten frozen right out the gate. But of the common wrasses, the blue star or the regular leopard wrasse would be the easiest.

Yeah thats been my fear is that it can be hit or miss. Were they fighting from the onset? I have multiple tanks so if they spar to much in qt I can separate. But my real fear is putting them into my display and then they fight. I had a blue star leopard wrasse once. By far one of my favorite fish. Lasted a while and disappeared I chocked it up to capture but who knows. I had kinda paused the leopard wrasse trio/harem because I havent been able to get more than 1 or 2 at a time from LA. Have any good ideas of where to source them? What kind of leopards have you had?
I have had almost every leopard wrasse out there minus a lapillis leopard. Live aquaria is an awesome place to get multiple of the basic leopards. you can even get a trio of Moyer's leopards right now. you just want to make sure before you get leopards is to re up on your pods so you have a buffer zone for getting them to eat. Florida Pets or Aquarium Depot are good places for that.

I like anthias, bartletts or bimarcs
definitely a good option. I would probably need a large ball of birds nest for them to live in first.

I also need some recommendations for a yellow fish and something in the pink spectrum. Can't be a tang as I am topped out on tangs. Looking for oddities and stuff that's different.

I've been thinking about things I want to make and can think of a few little things. A lot of the stuff I want to make I am trying to "invent" but I don't know how difficult that will be.

its going to just take a lot of time to learn a 3d design tool. once you get the hang of the tool its really easy.

So my experience with halichoeres wrasses is that if they have the same color, they will fight. picked up a juvi malenarious and a dusky in my old 120g and they almost killed each other until I pulled one of them out. So i would use some extreme caution when doing this if you move forward. If you do Leopard wrasses, I can help you there if you want a harem of them.

Welcome!!!!

I have the ender 3 and I really like it. I feel like a 3d printer is something that collects dust until you find some problem that could easily be solved by 3d printing. I mainly use mine for 3d printing TPU gaskets for things to keep them air tight. and occasionally I make brackets for holding specific items.
Lets talk Calcium Reactors

I used a LifeReef LCR1 Calcium reactor driven by a masterflex pump on my 200g. It worked amazingly. I still have the masterflex pump if you are interested. My recommendation would be to use the 2 Little Fishies rebourn media. it was really consistent.
