Hello I'm thinking about purchasing a hippo tang from petco he is about 2 in long looks active a little Pail. I would like to see if someone can QT him a a few weeks to make sure he doesn't have ick I just wanted to take advantage of the weekend sale. I didn't have time to build a qt tank missing a filter. Well this was a new coral I Purchased f rom LFS. I went ahead a dipped it in coral DIP. If there were eggs would the dip kill the eggs? I hope so cause I put the coral in my tank

Good evening, I am currently running a 70 gallon reef aquarium its been on for about 5 months. The dimensions are 35.5 x 23.5 x 18. I currently have only one MP40 and the return nozzle I have it shooting to the right side. My question is since my tank is only 3 feet long is another mp40 recommended or am I pushing the limits and I am fine with just the one? Thanks Eddie

Lynz, Welcome to WAMAS. I am about 5 months new to the forum as well, all I can say there are many friendly people here, They have been very helpful on answering a lot of my questions on my new built. All I can say is start slow and add slow. Patience is the key to a successful build. I still have lots to learn about this hobby but thanks to Tommy, JOHN, Big Sarge81 and YHsublime very helpful. I just googled it and you are correct i have Red planaria i only see a hand full on the glass, I also see some smaller critters on the glass but they are so tiny and they move very fast on the glass. But the Red Planaria are very slow.. So what are my options ? My tank has only been running for about 5 months

Good evening fellow reeferrs I was looking at my reef tank this evening with the lights off and i noticed a few red bugs on the glass. I couldn't take a good picture since there pretty small. What can i do to get rid of this parasites. I am sure they i got them from an aquired coral. Please any advice would be great, I would like to get rid of them before they multiply and gets harder to get rid of them. Eddie

Blue ribbion KOI has a deep BLUe 80 at the store if you want to look at one in person. Not sure if they are selling it or going to set it up for display. I went there last week and they had just got it. Still empty.

John , The tank is doing good! I had a small algae problem, but got it under control!! I have 2 clowns 4 small chromis and CUC everything is going well. The only thing is I can't get the skimmer to skim correctly. Over nights it over fills with water.. but keep going.. How is your tank going?
