    Getting Out - 90g Breakdown Package

    Getting out of the hobby and moving a few states away. Sadly it’s time to get rid of everything. This may not be goodbye but see you later.

     

    This post will be updated when things sell and items may be added, so keep an eye out. 

     

    Everything you see is OBO but please, don’t rake me over the coals and please, don’t waste my time. Everything will be first come first serve, meaning it isn’t yours until I have money in hand. I require that you are able to pick up. I will not deliver. I will keep water in it until purchased. I will help break down but will not help move. Bring help.

     

    I have grouped things together to try and get rid of items as fast as possible.  I can get more pictures if wanted. 

     

    Tank package: $400

    Oceanic 90g - A few owners and a few scratches. Nothing noticeable with water.

    DC6000 return - Only a few years old

    Sump

    Stand - Probably needs a new one

    Reef Dynamics ins100 skimmer - Beast of a skimmer.

    Live sand and any goodies living in it. 

     

    It2080 - Only one channel works. But channel. Throw into tank package

    Disposal of Chemicals

    I've always just put them down the drain figuring if they don't hurt the fish and coral in the tank they won't hurt the water treatment plant.  I wouldn't do that with fish meds, but think it's fine for additives.


    I guess that kind of makes sense.

    Disposal of Chemicals

    I am in the process of breaking down my 90 gallon and taking inventory. I am assuming all liquid chemicals are no good anymore. First question is, should I just assume they are bad and dispose them or should I pass them on. Second question is, if the chemicals are expired, whats the proper way to dispose of them. I am assuming dumping them down the drain is bad practice.
