  1. Holy Schnikes!! That is the sexiest and most intimidating sump ive ever seen!!! please teach me....

Ha well with great sump some as at a cost. I used to have DIY and it worked great for me but it was such an eye sore. So I decided to go all out and make it work and look the best. Sump is a trigger system which I love and I use avast Marine reactors. ATO and dosing containers are from Meleevs reef and I got the orange ones from a company off of amazon. Dosing pump is jabeo.

  2. LOL, it look like my laundry room without water heater.

I had to listen to some bickering for a few days from the wife but she is okay with it now.

  3. This review has been long overdue as I got my first fish from Marco (ERC) back in December of 2014. I first got 3 fathead anthias and a pair of flame wrasses, then couple of months later I got couple of leopard wrasses and trio of Wheelers shrimp goby. Finally couple of months ago I got my final fish, a copperband butterfly.

Every single one of those fish came healthy, eating frozen food right out of the bag and they are still doing great. Marco has always been so easy to work with and he also helped in making sure that some of the shy fish went into the tank first so that they have time to adjust and come swim in open water. I don't have space to have a QT tank so having someone like Marco @ ERC who does the necessary QT and makes sure that the fish are eating frozen food before selling/shipping has been really great. Here are the recent video of the copperband eating frozen food. These fish are known to be finicky eaters but not this one. You might also spot the other fish which I have gotten from ERC in this video

Do you have any problems with the copperband nipping at coral?

  4. I hear ya. I'm only 5 miles away from the panhandle there. I did almost 2 hours the other day to handle the return of the club's suction cups, in fact. But, you know, I have a view out my back deck that looks across the Loudoun Valley and back into the Blue Ridge, and don't have to worry about some HOA telling me what I can (and can't) do on my property. So, at the end of the day, life is pretty good.

Glad to see there are more WV or near WV guys on here

  6. You have it backwards I already have the mandarin. Had him for 3 years now. I was also asking for others experience if they've done it. Like every other experience like this there's always a risk and everybody has different experiences. Just something I'm looking into.
