I have some pulsing Xenia big frags dirty cheap. Also Kenya tree as well. Let me know if you interested

I would put it at 6"-7" and make sure water exiting is not submerged. Keep the valve open and slowly close it over the course of a few days or more to dial it in. 9" sounds like it is on the highside for depth imo.

I don't have problems with sandstorms... the only reason is because it easier for some coral to attach to crushed corals (srooms, etc..) but it is true after awhile it will start to settle down... I may try a bit to see how it goes.. Thanks guys

Is that Ok to put crushed coral on top of a sand Bed. Ah, on a established reef tank... I would like to add but not sure if I can do that. I must say not too much about a 1/2 in or a little more .

Jan , interesting posting I will be following this one cause I will be probably moving to FL in the end of the year and I am definitely bringing my 90 g system with me .

I would scrape it off until you hit the rock under it. Make sure to you all the eye, body and mouth protection when doing so.
