im back. tank is finally up and running, I've been real busy with school, I'm trying to graduate this year(at 16) so not much time with that tank.

new plans with the tank is to do a semi predator tank with lots of macro algae.hopefully it will all go good!!

Vapors? Why?

some palys release toxins with heated. they come out as vapors with the boiling water. just ware a mask, and dont put your face on top of the pot.

so the tanks cycle will start tomorrow, the new scape looks pretty awesome. i havnt decided what i want to stock this tank with. im open for suggestions.

ive also redesigned the sump. it now has two sections, one as the return section. and the other section is a huge fuge.

and within the next couple months I'm hoping to get a lot of macro algae and a mantis shrimp down there, the idea is to have a display under the display.

it will frag itself. and show up everywhere. how it go on a hermit crab shell? the shell was probably empty and got it on it, then the hermit took it.

tank crashed last week. heater stayed on and boiled the tank. i lost everything except my clams, perc, and ymg. for now everything is being held in my dads tank. gonna restart the tank this weekend, get the cycle going. pretty bummed out.

looks like your corals are bleaching. what are your water params?

last time i went, everything was covered in cyano, i was disappoint.

also they had a snowflake in like a 15 gallon tank, sand bad was nothing but cyano.

yeah thats what im using for the time being. until i can afford a nice macro lens.

your best bet would be a 18-55mm lens. cheap, and gets close enough for getting detail of coral.
