My name's Neil, and I got started on this hobby/addiction about 2 1/2 years ago. I would still classify myself as a beginner who has done a lot of reading. I started with a 55g tank which was planned horribly, went through some serious problems from my lack of knowledge of coral husbandry, but pulled through after I went through a serious learning phase lol. Unfortunately the tank crashed in the freakish thunderstorms at the beginning of July, but allowed me to start fresh with my 75g tank which should be MUCH more successful(I can only hope).

I should have joined WAMAS at the beginning of my saltwater adventures...woulda, coulda, shoulda....

I'm currently about to start my final semester to finish my accounting degree at George Mason University while working full time for a CPA firm. Loving the saltwater aquarium hobby is pretty therapeutic with the amount of stress with school and work. It's definitely a great way to unwind and do much more enjoyable work.
