  1. Thanks everyone. I know how to treat ich and I have been done it many times. I also know ich usually gets on newly added/stressed fish. I get all that. I'm saying that the 3 fish I have in the tank for a long time do not show any sign of ich but we can all agree that I have ich in there. I haven't added any new fish for months (at least 5 months). My question was if I should do ANYTHING to the existing tank?
  2. I have a 180g FOWLR. It only has 3 fish. ( 2 puffers and 1 Raccoon butterfly). They are fine and I haven't added any new fish for a while. Last weekend, I added a yellow tang from a club member, 2 day later, the tang was covered in lch. I immediately net him out and put them in my QT that is running coppersafe. My question is how am i going to fix this problem? the 3 fish already in there are totally fine. I have a lot of snails and LR..
  3. I bought Parzi (it's freaking expensive!!). And copper safe. (Only copper treatment they have in the store) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. how much water change do you do after prazi?

  6. very good advice. I guess time for a med order... I still have 3 survivors.. I will wait for a while.
  7. sure. What's the best copper treatment med out there?

  9. Regal angel, shoal tang, pink tail, 10 cardinal, chromed, lion fish, flame angel, naso, naso blonde, yellow line tang. List on and on. It does look like velvet. It happened so quicks. And they had some white film on them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I have a pair black ice then I added a pair platinum. The black ice female beat the crap out of the platinum everyday and I have a 600g. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have a pretty big QT system (4x40g). Since I buy fish at whole sale and I need to buy in a large quantity. I have been doing this for years... I had about 30 fish in QT and they were all fine and eating. Everything was going fine for 20 days. All the sudden, they had a disease out break... They are all lying one by one... I changed water daily, meds, nothing could stop it. I basically net dead fish out everyday for the past 7 days. Money is one thing, but this really makes me so depressed. watching them die and I can't anything about it. I don't think I can buy any new fish for a while. Also it brings up a good point that how important QT is. If this happens to my 600g and 200g. I will quit the hobby and never look back.
  12. Thanks origami! I will call them Monday! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Is it the best one they have? http://www.airwaterice.com/product/1NEPTUNE/NEPTUNE-200GPD-RODI-With-2-Membranes-3-DI-Cartridges.html Is it recommended? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. cool. maybe I should give them a call.. but the 300GPD does sound really good
  15. Thanks Origami! Does the one in my link have the new type of membranes?
  16. I want to upgrade my 100GPD unit and mainly because I would like dual membrane unit that will reduce my TDS before going to the DI. Which one is the best unit out there? I was looking at this http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-5-stage-spartan-ro-di-system-300gpd.html I don't know much about AWI and filterguys but I heard some good things about them. Any opinions welcome!
  17. I didn't do a build thread but I can post some here.
  18. I love tangs and that's one of the reasons I went with a 600g reef. I want to have almost every kinda of tangs (at least most of them). Do you think I can keep powder blue, powder brown, gold rim and achilies in the same tank? I know I'm playing with the fire but I just want to hear the opinions.
  19. The membrane is brand new and so are. The filter. I changed all of them when i moved here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Now that I have very good water pressure (85 psi). I made about 160g water so far and I can see all the DI color is already changed.... The TDS going in is range from 250-450. What should I do? just keep changing my DI?
  21. mystery resolved!!!!! I removed the waste line restrictor by accident, now I'm getting 85 PSI going into the mambrane. I have my RO/DI unit about 6 years and I don't have a flush kit. Do you think it's necessary?
  22. My RO/DI unit has no flush valve and I just installed new membrane and filters
  23. i thought the same thing. I called them and they exchanged a new one for me. no difference...
  24. right before the membrane. same system I used in my townhouse (city water) and I was getting 60psi
  25. Where is the flow restrictor located? The entering and exiting the booster pump are correctly installed.
