  1. I seem to remember there was someone in the club who was building high-end stands? I'm looking for something furniture grade, a stand and canopy for a dart frog vivarium to match my aquarium stand. The stand was done by Midwest Custom Aquariums but I'd much rather get it from someone out here if they can do it. Any tips? Thanks!

I’d caution to only use the coral snipper a few inches from the polyp. Skeleton can crack long ways and rip the polyp in half. Doesn’t always buy it can Happen.

I use a snipper to get chunks then my fancy band saw to cut individual polyps if requested. Band saw makes nice smooth cuts :)

Thanks - thats been my experience. Without access to a band saw, I was wondering if a bone saw would work.

  3. Both my wife  and I recently started getting a rash after having our arms in our tank…..I’ve been Reefkeeping since I was 10 and never got this. Happen to anyone else? Only major change is adding several new torches. We’re getting small itchy bumps that last several days.

  4. I have a similar sized tank. Too small for a blue tang. I would scratch the mandarins unless you're pretty adept at feeding live food to them. I would also add the firefish first. I have a pair of ocellaris, komini tang, flame angel, one spot fox, six line, blue damsel, banggai, and a purple pseudochromis. It's about maxxed out and everyone is moderately aggressive so it balances out.

It's great that whatever was messing with the LPS is behind you.  I'm also looking forward to more pics.

I had two bouts of dinos. Finally put a UV sterilizer on and that took care of it. Of course it affected a couple of the nice torches and lost 2. Never fails
