  1. Here are a couple of quick shots of the new clam. I had to shut my lights off and haven't taken all the pics I intend to post. I'll work on those tomorrow.

I didn't get these today. I've had them for a while, they've just been hiding out in my frag tank.

    More tomorrow...

  2. Paid another visit to F&F today and picked up some awesome corals and a beautiful clam. As always it was great getting a chance to visit with Sean and Gloria (Nick too....maybe....jk). If you haven't been out there in a while you really should make the trip. They are having a great sale and I'm certain you could find a nice little gem to add to your tank!

    Thanks again F&F!

  3. I'm glad you are happy with them...

After the update and the responses I've been motivated to put a few things that have been lurking in my frag tank into the main. I placed the favite in the tank I'm not sure if it will stay where it is or not but for now it is ok. I also put my blasto's in the tank that I've had for months. A few other odds and ends made their way to the tank.

It is past time for me to start chopping things up in the frag tank. I have so much frogspawn, trumpet and digitata that I need another tank just for those three corals.

I'll be posting some pics shortly of the new additions I picked up today!

  4. My O. Clowns took to the tile immediately after putting it in the tank. I put it right next to the frogspawn they were hosting in and the male started cleaning it right away. A few days later I had a nice sized nest laid on the tile.

Where did you get the Black clowns from? My wife is begging me to get a true mated pair.

  5. The retro kits you can get are pretty easy to deal with. The wiring is color coded and the diagrams are very easy to follow. I was concerned when I got my first one but within 30 minutes I had everything wired up and running.

  6. Well I saw the tank on Friday and I was impressed. Give those bulbs a little time to burn in before you make your decision.

The tank looks awesome in person! Now I have to get my butt in gear and redo my canopy and install the 250s I got from you!

  7. Wow I hate to hear that about your lights. I'm not happy to hear that about PFO either as I have and use one of their ballasts on my system. HA! I'm upgrading to IceCaps so I will be ok. I guess this will just speed the process up!

I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of the tank.

  8. I think with the size tank you are talking about I would go with the 10X80 just to get the most bang for the buck. I would think that you could keep SPS at the very top of your rock structure with those lights.
