  1. I am looking to get out of the hobby and my main concern is that my corals and fish are well taken care of. I havent been able to put as much time in on my system as the fish and corals deserve so I would like to donate my entire 90 system as a school tank. It 90 gallon reef ready and drilled. System: 90 gallon w/overflow Protein Skimmer and under tank sump Lighting: 48inch odyssea 2MH 250W 20k/2 96W Actinic with Icecap Ballasts Livestock: 100lbs Live Rock Yellow Tail Purple tang Foxface 1 ocellaris clown (common) Brittle star Coral Banded Shrimp MISC crabs and snails Corals: Green Branching Hammer Pink Pocillipora A Fromosa Many Polyps, Green, Brown w/orange center, Pink Purple Bonsai 20K lokaini mummy eye chalice it isnt a show aquarium and some of the corals definitely are not for beginners so if an officer would like to have them for safe keeping I have no objections. I have a lot of money in this system but in the spirit of the hobby I dont want it getting parted out and sold for profit, my main concern is that my fish and corals go to a good home.

  4. I am north of you in Martinsburg. I have some two polyp frags and a galaxia frag I started that seem to be doing great. A picture of the polyp colonies are here: one brown and orange the other a bright green. Doesnt show too well in the picture The Galaxia frag is here beside its mother, lower right side. Definately willing to help out a fellow reefer. DBartco helped me out over the weekend, looks like its time to pay it forward.

  7. When I was stationed on Guam and snorkled a lot you could find them everywhere, along with the stonefish and morays. Many of them are beautiful but their toxin will paralyze you, at least long enough to make sure you drowned. It is neat to see them spear a small fish and eat it.
  8. Had a pretty poor experience with Clams direct I ordered a clam on sale from them. They said they would ship it on the following Wednesday. They then e-mailed me back saying that they had a power outage and the clam wasn't looking too healthy. They said they would be getting more clams in after the new year and I could order another then. I said ok no problems but I hope I could still get the sale price if I have to reorder. He responded that he hadn't charged my card yet. I responded that I bought the clam because of the sale and hoped he would honor that sale price. He just sent back "We have sales all the time!" The e-mail exchange is provided below Begin::: Ok, forget the order then. I will be sure to post on Reef Central and the Washington Area Marine Aquarist (WAMAS) web site with feedback about the bait and switch. Sorry things didn
