  1. Update.... The tank is being delivered Thursday morning. Pics to follow after that. Wish me luck!
  2. Now that's a deal!!! Good luck Chris! : )
  3. Got more equipment in. I can't believe the size of everything from what I was used to. Talk about SUPERSIZED.... LOL. I also want to give a shout out to Phil and Reef eScape for all they help they have provided. I have also gotten ALL of my equipment thru them including the tank and you can't beat their prices. If anyone is looking for any help setting up a tank or designing a system I would HIGHLY recommend them. Thanks Phil!
  4. Started it at the very end of Nov. 2006 and the pic was taken Aug. 2008
  5. Was going thru some old pics and found this one of my 110. I sure hope my new one looks this good but 4 times bigger.
  6. Yes, the fuge will be fed off one of the return lines.
  7. Got word from Coast to Coast that the tank will be shipped out on Oct 5th. Here's a new pic of it with the top on. Have the sump/quarantine tank stand almost done. Still need to put the plywood on. Sump will sit on the bottom. Here is what the acrylic sump will look like.
  8. Very good point. Especially when, as others have said, the majority of the people running them are not using the current fixtures at 100%.
  9. Thank you, Coast to Coast is building the tank. The front and left sides are Starfire glass. The back and right side will be painted black. It has an external overflow with 2 two inch drains.
  10. Thanks for the info but I'm not to worried about it. There isn't much PT wood and all of the wood will be painted when it's all done.
  11. Here is a shot of the tank being built.
  12. Wow, thanks for the heads up. Same sale here in Florida. Heading out this morning to find my frag and quarantine tanks.
  13. And this is what the UPS man brought me today.
  14. Got busy on the stand today. Took most of the day but I must say that it turned out great. Tomorrow we will be building the sump stand. Here's some pics of the build. This is the interior wall that the stand will be attached to. 1/2" PT Plywood. Stand Base. PT 4x4's Support legs and corners on and level. That's my buddy Nate cutting the plywood base out in the background. The top. 2x8's Top on and secured to the wall. Completed stand with 3/4" PT plywood on top and bottom. Everything secured to the wall and level.
  15. Yup, got the order today! Thanks! I will be posting pics of the stand build here shortly. Just have to get the pics off the camera.
  16. Good to hear it's still going strong. I may have to hit you up for a piece of that blue table. It was by far my most favorite coral.
  17. No, I really don't have that option. I do have AC vents in the room, a ceiling fan as well as a fan that can run directly on the chiller if needed. I hoping that will all that and a window in the room it will be okay. I will be running Radeon LED's on the tanks so I really don't think I will even need the chiller, I have it "just in case".
  18. Thanks, if you have any suggestions please let me know.
  19. The chiller can be moved. I can also add a fan. I didn't think about the heat build up, I've never had to run a chiller before. I'm not even sure I am going to need one on this tank with the LED lighting but I don't want to take the chance. I'm hoping the chiller won't have to run very often. Thanks for pointing that out.
  20. Hahaha... yeah no kidding huh Bob? I remember you stopping by when I just had some rock and a few fish. LOL
  21. No real reason for the BlueLine pumps other than they are good pumps for good prices. I really don't need anything to outrageous for the returns. All my flow is coming from the Vortec's. Just need something good enough for a good turnover of water.
