    Hello everyone -

I have gotten numerous replies to my message. Thank you all very much.

Correction to my message yesterday. The clownfish are "Sebaes" NOT "Perculas". My apologies. I sent my original message too early in the morning (before my first cup of coffee). They are a pair and will take very readily to an anemone. They were previously living with a bubble-tip anemone in my tank, but I no longer have it.

I am working today, but plan to start trying to get back to everyone tonight from home. I will be sure to post a message when everything has found a home so that everyone knows.

Thanks for the offers to take my stock. Breaking down a tank stinks and the offers to give my fish homes takes a load off my mind.

  2. I was there for the cmas speakers and it did open my eyes up.I want a quarantine tank now.for now on I will dip every coral I get from wherever and when i have some extra cash I going to get a nano for a coral quarantine tank. I have done a couple of dips on some frags and it looks like a couple of Amphipod's have come off of my zoos.Sandy(smarsh97)gave me a good link for the zoo pests see link below.

I prefer avocado and crab dips.

  3. I just wanted to say thanks for this thread and the link to the great article I just read it and it makes allot of sense.I also was not understanding the importance of the alkalinity.(the marriage of the 2 calcium's)Over the past few months I also had problems with my alk.I was only adding kalk and no alk.so my levels really dropped.also the water I was using....Well water ro/di was very very low in alkalinity .I add alkalinity to my fresh water and get that high first and then add my salt to that water after it gets right.i hope this helps and if anyone wants to set me straight ,please post a response.I'm glad this club and members are so helpful wish I joined a long time ago.I probably would have saved lots of money and a few animals at the same time :)
