But there are lots of great ways to do refugiums. bare bottom chaeto ball rubble bottom caulerpa fuge rubble bottom Halymenia sand and miracle mud bottom with caulerpa sand and miracle mud bottom with Halymenia (My prefered method) deep sand and miracle mud bottom with caulerpa deep sand and miracle mud bottom with Halymenia Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's a pretty macro that's easy to take care of, but I don't use it specifically for exporting nutrients so much as pod space (though it's not bad for that either).If you like the chaeto ball, there was a thread awhile back on the DIY chaeto bucket system that looks really cool.
