CaLevi January 26, 2021 January 26, 2021 (edited) Having had LED's only in the past, I recently added a 4bulb ATI T5 that I just finished refurbing. (I replaced my LED's as well, but from what I read, it's the T5's driving this) My tank is a 120XL, so 26" tall, and started the t5's at 12inches above the water. What I'm getting are daily APEX pH alarms as my pH spikes. I know pH is cyclical, and I read that introducing t5 could cause increased photosynthesis causing increased pH, but at it's lowest my pH is 8.18 and just yesterday, climbed as high as 8.47. I thought 8.3 is the highest you want, but my overall question is will this settle back down once the corals get accustomed to the new lighting? Any help and insight would be greatly appreciated.
