ohaverd December 18, 2020 Share December 18, 2020 Hey WAMAS! hope everyone is doing well in these trying times. Quick question, this started out as a normal looking sponge but then started growing ugly and stringy. Is this bad for my tank? Should I remove it? Is there a fish or invert that would eat it? thanks for any help.
epleeds December 18, 2020 Share December 18, 2020 Sponges are filter feeders. But a lot of time they are super ugly. I normally peel mine off the rock and toss it. as for fish that eat it, the only problem is they will probably eat your corals as well.
